Performing in Damascus, Syria in December, 2010 with the brilliant Syrian musician Kinan Idnawi playing the oud. We were guests of Dr. Rami Khalil, of the Syrian Organisation for the Disabled. A few months after the show, the civil war broke out. It saddens me to no end to see what has happened to this country in the past 5 years. The hardships the war has taken on the people there is completely unimaginable. This is an SOS for Syria. #stopthewar #redcross #humancaresyria #syria
