This is Bill Gates wearing a full Ebola suit, like those worn in wards in West Africa. It takes 11 minutes to put on and 7 to safely remove, and it's cumbersome -- with full body cover, double gloves, boots, a mask, and goggles. When you're fully suited up, even tying your shoelace is a feat. The doctors' names are written on their forehead and chest so that their patients have a sense of the person within. The suit is part of an exhibit at #TED2015 meant to make a frightening point -- as of now, this makeshift, cumbersome suit is the best we have, and it won't be enough for the next epidemic.
