Hey guys and gals, @richburnsred_art here, with a non instagram artist post.
This incredibly detailed sculpture entitled "transit", was created by Mumbai based artist Valay Shende. It took 18 months to make, and is constructed from thousands of reflective stainless steel disks that have been individually spot welded together. It contains 22 figures of people on the truck (as if the truck itself wasn't going to be time consuming enough to build!). Due to the small size of the disks, it may not be that clear in the photo just how detailed this piece actually is.
