This shit is crazy ..and so bad for the music industry!! The judgement was wrong on "blurred" lines. A song is the MELODY AND LYRICS!! the melody and lyrics on "blurred lines" were clearly different than Marvins "Gotta give it up"! You cant copyright a vibe and a cowbell pattern!!Yes the vibe and rhythmic pattern of the two songs were similar ...but if that's the case then every songwriter can sue every other songwriter that writes something that sounds even remotely like something they've written. Where does it end??!!!
