2014 was the toughest year of my life... I started to notice that it was getting more and more difficult to sing and even talk or laugh. Turns out I let the stress effect my body and they found a small lump in my vocal chord.
The surgery was very successful, and now I won't be able to talk for a month or two. I think this will be a lovely experience for self reflection and a good time to really get into meditation... But it does devastate me to know that I can't sing or write songs for a while.
I am very blessed to have everyone's love and messages. Even the news and reporters have been very kind and supportive.
This shall be a NEW START for me. I shall learn to be happy and healthy again! I'll work hard to slowly learn to speak again, and I'll come back to you all a better singer, a better musician!
I'm still a little high right now, so it's bedtime for me. I love you all so much!
