There are still women worldwide treated as property, not people. There are still women struggling against oppression, rape, violence and enslavement. There are still women not allowed to learn, to work, to grow up and live full, free lives. So today I'd like to recognize all those who, male and female alike, seek to empower women to make a real, concrete difference in this world and our collective quality of life on it. Those who nurture, educate, and create CHANGE. This is no easy fight, nor will it be a short one (our right to vote in the US is almost 100 and we're still fighting), but know it's one never, ever fought alone. #InternationalWomensDay
