Happy Birthday To Me!
And as a birthday gift to myself I'll let myself go back to a time in my life when I had beautiful curly, slightly unruly and definitely non-conforming hair on my head. It was a time of rebellion and revolutionary thought, a time of liberation from combs and hair products.
It was a moment of truth; 'who am I and what is that on my head?'. And before I could find out, it was gone.
So on this day, my 32nd birthday, I salute my hairline that has admittedly ventured far past my north pole.
