This just happened this morning at WRC Mexico: M-Sport/Ford driver Ott Tanak and his co-driver Raigo rolled into a reservoir on the first stage of the day! So wild. From a video posted on WRC’s Facebook page, it looks like his front steering arm broke in a compression before the turn. This is the kind of stuff that makes rally one of the most gnarly motorsports in the world! The smallest issue gone wrong can have such massive consequences. But, it’s also why I love this sport!
