We want to see your best #FORDwork pics. Instagrammer Dan Cole (@dankhole) traveled to a few work sites in the Pacific Northwest and captured a #Ford #F150 pitching in. Follow his tips below to get the best shot of a Ford doing its fair share, and don’t forget to tag your photos with #FORDwork. Dan will help us pick the best ones to showcase next week. __________________________________________________________ Hey everyone, I’m Dan Cole and since this week’s theme is about work, I thought I’d share a little about the creative elements I use to achieve my shots. I hope it will inspire you to see your photos and surroundings in a new way. 1. The work you (or others) do with a Ford is a great opportunity to tell a story. Try to capture that moment when the work couldn’t be accomplished without it. 2. Look for geometric shapes. These basic design elements can lead the eye to your point of interest. Lines and triangles are strong components in my photography. 3. Patterns create visual flow and interest. Your vehicle will really stand out in front of a repeating row of trees or an old weathered brick wall. 4. Use scale to emphasize what’s important. For maximum impact, put your Ford right up front…maybe you can’t even fit it all in frame. Alternatively, set it in the distance to make your surroundings feel vast. I can’t wait to see the shots you come up with while you’re out working with your Ford and your camera this weekend! Please be sure to tag your photos #FORDwork.
