My February book of the month.
Red Rising by Pierce Brown.
People told me it was the next Hunger Games.
People told me it was the next Harry Potter.
People were right. This is not normally my cup of tea in regard to genre or tone but I loved it. It's a barn burner from page one. Great characters. Fantastic antagonists. Univeral themes. Rising tension. Great one liners just asking to be a made into cinematic magic "I'm a sheep wearing wolves' clothing in a pack of wolves" So much fun. I needed that. Specially after @hobbsarc broke me in January with "The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Pearce. My heart needed vacation. Thoughts?
I've already started my March book, but open for suggestions for April. #ecoinstagrambookclub #whosin?
