"A few weeks ago, I was assigned to cover the Marily Manson show at Terminal 5 in NYC. I wanted to get there early to cover the opening band, #UnlockingTheTruth. They’ve been around since 2007 and they were the youngest band to play at the 2014 Vans Warped Tour, so I was eager to see them. Right away I was impressed by the their confidence and talent, and it was great to see the crowd to engaged during the whole performance. There were about four of us in the photo pit. I’m used to working around other people to get the shot I want, but this was the first time I had to compete for position with a parent of one of the members of the band."
