One of there great things about being based in Brooklyn as a photographer is the people that you have a chance to meet.
One of the most talented people I have had the opportunity to meet is @ChristopherAndersonphoto. We have been friends since 1998, I was among the first photographers in Brooklyn that Chis meet when he relocated to the east coast.
Chris, a member of @Magnum Photos, has done amazing work around the globe in conflict, civil unrest & displaced peoples.
But what I find the most impressive, and it speaks to his intelligence and his drive, is his transition to wonderful portraits. He is currently a photographer-in-residence at @NYMag.
