Great suggestion from @nw_respect_fashion: “ Brown your bratwurst or sausages in a medium heat skillet. Then add half to 3/4 bottle of ale. Cover and simmer on medium low heat, stirring them around often. Cook for 12-15 mins. The liquid will reduce and start to become a glaze.
