When my hometown of Kettering approached my dad about building a public skatepark in 2004, we realized we had an amazing opportunity to make real change with community support and create the first pure skate plaza. In the spirit of giving back, The @StreetLeague Skateboarding Foundation has now been established with the goal of increasing global participation in skateboarding and to create healthy, sustainable communities by promoting the inherent benefits of skateboarding throughout the world.
