In 2011, I did a short film called Narcocorrido, with a group of American Film Institute fellows headed by the brilliant writer/director Ryan Prows. We played a ton of festivals and won a Student Academy Award. I was given an Honorable Mention at AFI Fest 2012. The website Cinephilia & Beyond very wisely interviewed Ryan recently and I'm including a link of that interview and the short. I am as proud of this wok as I've ever been of anything.
