Meet Sara Raza (@punkorientalism), selected as the future Guggenheim UBS MAP Curator, Middle East and North Africa for the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative. Working with the Guggenheim curatorial staff, Raza will acquire works by contemporary artists of Middle Eastern and North African origin for the museum’s permanent collection and collaborate with education colleagues to program talks, workshops, and outreach projects connected to the exhibition. The works acquired will also form the basis of an exhibition that will open at the Guggenheim Museum in 2016 before traveling to the region. Watch more at guggenheim.org/map. #GuggUBSMAP
