I had a well known surf photographer tell me the other day how bad my shots were because they basically didn't follow his rules of what makes a good photograph ... my guess is what he'd say about this shot is the horizon line is crooked ... the colors don't look natural enough ... etc etc ... it's crazy how self imposed rules can blind our eyes to seeing something deeper ... because when I look at this picture what I see is another world ... that's why I've always said that I'm an artist and not a photographer ... because I never want the rules of photography to blind my creative eye #GoPro #norulesforart art>ego
