„Bleeding the ABC suspension system. This test just never gets old“ says Doug Wolf (@doug_wolf) who works as a Mercedes-Benz master technician and Mercedes-AMG performance specialist at Fletcher Jones Imports in Las Vegas, Nevada. On Instagram @doug_wolf gives a behind the scene glimpse of what goes into repairing Mercedes-Benz and the engineering that goes into the vehicles.
That’s why we asked him to be part of this #MBInstagramFeature and his story is inspiring! „I was born into the world of working on cars. As far back as I can remember I was hanging out with my dad in the garage. He would teach me about different systems and how they work.“ When @doug_wolf grew up, working for Mercedes-Benz was at the top of his list. „When I graduated from college I wanted to work for a high end auto manufacturer. I searched the internet and learned that Mercedes-Benz offered schooling for the top graduates from automotive programs. I applied and was accepted.” After graduating from the Mercedes-Benz ELITE program he applied to his current dealership in Las Vegas. „My advise” says @doug_wolf “to anyone who would want to follow in my footsteps would be to be passionate about what you do and never stop learning. The more you learn, the more tools you'll have at your disposal to diagnose and repair car correctly the first time.
I have a few different dream and ideas of what I would like to do in the future. One is to work as an AMG prototype engineer/technician that builds experimental and test vehicles.“ Make sure to follow @doug_wolf on Instagram.
