This is a shot I took of my good friend @russellhoover back in the day ... he shot many of my bodyboarding photos that were in mags in the 90s ... I'm still so humbled with what him and others did with film back then ... we were talking about one roll of film he shot of us (36 exposures) in the Cook Islands and 24 of the 36 shots were published ... no viewfinder to see if your settings were right just purely knowing your camera ? #madrespect ... he also taught me most of the key principles to good water photography (like keeping the lens clean) before it was common knowledge ... and he's just an all around great artist so I figured I'd throw his name out so you can check his work @russellhoover #GoPro
