Hello fellow art lovers! We have some really exciting developments coming up for the Art Collective family, and we can't wait to share them with you.
One of the new features is an in-depth Q&A session with some of your favourite artists. Our first interview is with the amazing @afjelnseth. AC: So Alex, how did you develop such an interest in and knowledge of art? Where you artistic from a young age?
Alex: “I’ve always been into drawing. I recently had the chance to look through some of my earlier work. Kid stuff, you know. I was into drawing dinosaurs and guns and there’s lots of explosions too. I remember how my classmates used to ask me to draw them guns in middle school. There was a long period in my life where I didn’t draw though. I guess it was almost a ten year hiatus where other things were more interesting. But eventually it found its way back into my life. As for art in general, I can’t really claim to have had a huge interest in it before. I’m into the creation process, more than anything, when it comes to art. I love watching time-lapses of things coming together.
