This dog was set on fire and left for dead, so we gave her the best day of her life... Introducing our new Dog's Best Day initiative where we give deserving pups their best day ever, one incredible story at a time. Meet our first pawnoree: Susie!

As a puppy, Susie suffered horrendous abuse at the hands of her first owner. Meanwhile, her future mom, Donna, went through her own struggle. But fate brought the two together, and Susie and Donna are now working hard to end animal abuse.
