Visited #GQ offices in the new WTC Tower yesterday. Amazing to marvel at this $3.9B architectural wonder piercing the sky #1776 feet above sea level (with foundations driven over 100 feet below the #HudsonRiver) and bizarre and haunting to look down and see the footings of the former North and South Towers from above. It's hard to believe it's been over 13 years since the attacks of 9/11. Where were you at that very moment? I was living in LA and woke up to a voice mail from my brother saying a plane had struck the first building. I stayed glued to the TV for a few hours then went to a #TheyWillSurfAgain and @surfershealing event at Topanga where we all stood around in shock and horror. There will be few days during anyone's lifetime that will change the course of history for all of mankind and polarize so many people. #Remembering911 #FreedomFries #WTC7
