Thinking about my life just a year ago, I get teary eyed. Not because I'm sad, but because of how beautiful change is. I remember 6am workouts for soccer, dragging out of bed for class, mandatory study hall, falling in love for the first time, leaving school, starting my fitness journey, maxing out credit cards because we were broke as shit lol! I remember never having the luxury of going out to eat at restaurants, our 20 inch tv, living in the basement, working hella jobs! I started as a Hooters girl, did door to door sales for AT&T, worked in a factory (both very short lived lmao) taught Zumba at my university, and was a caregiver for special needs adults just to name a few. I remember just wanting an opportunity but not knowing really how to go about getting one living in Michigan. Crazy how certain things pan out! A good friend of mine once told me "the only thing constant in life is change" and I thank God everyday for that! There's so much I am in the process of doing and it's all because of social media. Instagram has changed my life. I encourage everyone to say F IT and just go after whatever it is you want. It's worth 100% of the risk. I don't think you guys know how much you all truly mean to me, to have those of you, old or just joining yesterday, for having my back. Whether it's reposting a picture of mine, clapping back in comments, coming out to events, or just freaking 'liking' my stuff! I love you all from the bottom of my fickle heart lol!!! I've never had much so I take nothing in life for granted...the smallest thing to you could mean the world to me. This is insanely long and you're the real MVP if you read this ? but just know you are appreciated ❤️ even though we all might pop off on one another and disagree about certain things I know the love is real.
