Hey guys and gals, bringing you something a bit different today. This magnificent timepiece is the creation of a couple of amazing artists. The watch itself is by Robert Gruebel and Stephen Forsey, and on its own it is a stunning creation. However, the other artist involved is named Willard Wigan, who sculpted a microscopic golden ship. This is hidden away inside the watch, and through years of research, they managed to create a concave piece of glass that reflects natural light and magnify perfectly, so that if you look through the tourbillon the ship is perfectly visible.
It is a feat of engineering, and as such comes with a hefty 1.5 million dollar price tag. Pretty incredible huh!
Both the watchmakers and the sculptor are amazing and definitely worth checking out, however there is no Instagram profile for either as far as we could see. You can however check their websites www.greubelforsey.com and www.willard-wigan.com
