Congratulations, @finn_the_dane! Your beautiful 7ish-year-old Kya has been selected as our @ProPlan #BrightMindoftheWeek! "Kya was picked up wandering the streets and was taken to the Chicago pound. Placed in the bite ward due to limited space for such a big girl, she was given all but a death sentence. After stumbling across her cage and noticing her waggling around inside, mom offered to take her home as a foster. The lasted all of a week before the adoption forms were complete and Kya was officially part of the family. The vet guesses Kya is between 7-9 but most days you wouldn't know it...she still loves to get out and hike the Western NC mountains," writes @finn_the_dane.
