So proud of Damien Chazelle and his masterful feature #Whiplash. Not many people know this but Eric Newman and I gave Damien his first paying job writing Last Exorcism part 2. He was making money working as a tutor at the time. He wrote and amazing draft. Last night he told me he used that money to shoot the Whiplash short which lead to the feature. He's the nicest guy and so incredibly talented. If you haven't seen Whiplash it's amazing, one of the most inspiring films I've seen in a long time. A remarkable film at any point in one's career, let alone a film before 30. Congratulations Damien!
