The show, equally inspired by Ridley Scott's celebrated film Blade Runner, was held at Kokuhikan, a popular sumo wrestling arena in the Japanese capital. The collection was a fusion of "glamour, the urban environment and the outdoors", mixing futuristic influences, Japanese style, paillettes, embroidery, jacquard motifs, Aran knits, English wool and wax coated cottons, in a contrast which "goes to make iconic women in iconic silhouettes and idea of projecting into the future”, as Raf Simons told us backstage. #diortokyo
