This #TBT photo is pure #Quest. On the left is Q, a Princeton-educated economist. On the right is Carlitos, a self-proclaimed "kid from the streets" who lost his younger sister and many friends to gang violence growing up in Watts.
They used to work side by side with me on our production line. Here they are sharing the triumph of taking delivery of our first big-boy piece of equipment. In true Quest fashion, Q, bored with economics, has since taught himself chemistry and moved into R&D. Carlitos taught himself computer programming and is now part of our tech team.
They are both living proof that it doesn't matter where you are today. It only matters where you want to go and how hard you're willing to work to get there. Quest is where you come to become the best version of yourself. The opportunity to grow is the promise we make to every employee.
When this photo was taken, we had less than 40 employees. We now have nearly 1,000. This team owns my heart. They all fight every day to help each other move towards greatness. My eternal gratitude to this team for all they have taught me. #OnAQuest #NeverDone #QuestNutrition
