I'm working on an edit of pictures that I shot for the story #WasDarwinWrong for the @ナショナルジオグラフィック. This story was the beginning of my deep interest in the subject of #Evolution.

The #Frillback #Pigeon pictured above is an example of selective breeding. They are a breed of #fancypigeon developed over many years. Frillbacks along with other varieties of #domesticated pigeons are all #descendants of the #Rockpigeon (Columbia Livia). The breed is known for the frill curls on the wing shield feathers, as wells the the curls on the foot feathers or #muffs.
