This is the day I've been waiting for. The 2016 Shelby GT350 is officially unveiled. Thankfully, it has been kept true to the original form and is following in the footsteps of the recent Boss 302, which is one of the best Mustangs produced in my opinion. This car will prove yet again that Americans can make cars that can handle, not just overpower oversteering pigs that are more fit for a drag strip than a road course. The new GT350 is equipped with a 5.2L V8 with a flat-plane crank, which means this beast will rev up to possibly 8,000 rpms & produce over 500 horsepower and 400 ft-lbs. Praise @Ford for offering this beast ONLY with a 6-speed manual. It also has Ford's new MagnaRide shocks, their version of the Magnetorheological damping systems, similar to the ZL1 & C7's system. It's even equipped with Recaro's and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Somehow, I must get on a road course with one of these beasts once they're released.. ???
