The last ceramic poppy was placed in Tower of London’s moat to mark Armistice Day, in Great Britain. The poppies were part of "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red," an art installation marking the centenary year of the start of World War I. Some 4 million people visited the Tower of London’s sea of 888,246 ceramic poppies, one for each British soldier killed in the conflict.
