I'm so thankful to have had my career blossom during the digital age, a time when models have voices and are not just minimized as pretty mute faces. Today's #ThrowbackThursday is one of my first ever picture posts on my old blog. I was told that this was a bad idea, that models should be illusive, untouchable and silent. There were a few hundred people following me back then on just one social platform and today I'm so happy to reach out to millions of people world wide. Having a voice, and people who care to listen, has given me more confidence than any magazine cover or runway show could.
