#MikeLibecki is about as good as it gets, incredible athlete, adventurer and all time friend. I shot this portrait of him on location in the the #WolthatMountains of Antarctica at the very end of 2012 on a @ナショナルジオグラフィック assignment with Mike, @Cory Richards and @freddiewilkinson - It was a trip Mike spear headed, handling all of the logistics from nearly start to finish. It was his 7th trip down there and he knew the in's and out's flawlessly. This is some real deal off the grid adventuring, you're out there and on your own. Mike is presently heading down once again, this time with his daughter and budding adventurer @lilliana_libecki on her very first expedition, a skiing journey. Ticking off this continent is a dream for many, she's doing it at the age of 11 and in the best of hands, her fathers. It's an incredible thing, happy for this daddy daughter duet. @EpicTV just released part 1 of a 4 part series I shot and directed from our journey to the bottom of the earth.
