This is Jim Kelso, head of Quality Analysis in our roasting department. He tastes dozens of cups of coffee a day from each of our roasteries. He was featured in the July 1986 issue of Interview magazine in an amazing article entitled “The Road Warriors,” posing with a Keith Haring skateboard at a time when he and his friends made ramps in empty lots in SoHo.
