New band is HERE! ? Sadly, the beautiful girl in the lower left won't be able to make it...it won't be the same without her, but we'll do our best!
GHOST began over a dinner party 2 weeks ago, when Wendy began singing songs on the guitar and as if we'd been doing it forever, the 3 of us (Inga, Allison, and I) started singing harmonies. We passed the guitar back and forth around the table like this, singing each other's songs and favorite covers for hours. This is how GHOST was born. But we made a set of rules for ourselves: - never to play in a "real" music venue. Only in intimate settings or outdoors. - there will only be 1 guitar between us. No other instruments.
- never to overpractice. We want to keep the performances feeling loose, unsure, alive in this way.
Tomorrow should be interesting. 1 member missing, and our only rehearsal just before the show, performing in the beautiful new space/shoppe parisberlinla. There's a good chance this could be both our first and last show....but who knows. It will be a night of memory making! ?
