This year will officially go down in history as the strangest, most difficult year ever. There has been so much death. I lost my best friend, my grandmother and my little baby. I keep meeting people everywhere I go that has gone through indescribable loss and pain in 2014. There had been breakups, divorce, disease... I have a hard time wrapping my head around it.
But there has also been marriage, a wedding, connection, love, new life. So much love. This is the year of duality: heart wrenching pain and profound love. This I know: nothing will stay the same after 2014. Everything will change. Life is breaking us down and tearing us apart so that we can learn and grow and find the light and realize why it is that we are all here and become whole again.

Please, everyone, go send loving thoughts and prayers and healing to my dear dear friends @shelley_beau and @joshwendel who are spending their fifth consecutive day at the hospital right now. Shelley is in surgery and needs all the light and love possible right now. Go tell her she is loved and supported and then take a deep breath and send healing her way. She needs it. Everything is going to be ok. I love you
