Syrian painter Yamen Nour painted the walls of this Syrian expatriate cafe in the Turkish city of Gaziantep with murals of buildings hit by bombs and rockets. He stands in front of a painting of a bomb decorated with a mustache, his symbol for villains, which he used interchangeably to represent the Syrian regime as well as ISIS. Nour, who also performs as a comedic actor in a TV show mocking corruption by Syrian rebels and brutality by Syrian military forces, says US air strikes against ISIS are more comical than any of his satirical TV scripts.
