Many of you are probably wondering why I'm posting this image. ? Yesterday I learned about Fanfiction (I know, I know). In particular, I discovered a very popular Fanfic story that was inspired by #Bridegroom. "Locker 17" is about the romantic relationship between One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles ("#LarryStylinson") who use a secret code (#TapTapTap) to express their love; it's the same code my late partner Tom and I used. I think it's so cool that young people are inspired by "Locker 17," regardless of the fact that it is (presumably) fiction. If my story can inspire someone else to create a story that provides hope and is capable of brightening someone's day or making them feel better about who they are, then I support it. As of today I'm proud to say that I'm a "#Directioner." ? I know that some of my family and friends will poke fun at me for this post, but I understand how hard it can be to fit in and it is inspiring to see how "Locker 17" has touched so many young people. One Direction's fandom, and many others (shout out to my fellow #Lovatics!), provides a sense of community and an unconditional support system of which we all could use a little more. Thanks to "StylesRoyalty" for introducing me to this awesome fandom family!
