Aquel 16 de octubre de 2004 cumplí un sueño espectacular. Os lo voy a contar.

Aquella convocatoria con el Real Madrid del 15/10/2004 fue una sorpresa, pues yo estaba en el Castilla. Pasé en horas de tener pasaje para ir a Las Palmas para jugar contra el Vecindario a coger un AVE hacia Sevilla. En el hotel nos hicieron fotos a @javigarcia_6 y a mí con nuestros dorsales. Solo faltaban los dragones @adidas_es
Empezamos perdiendo y el Betis se mostraba fuerte. @mejuto33 tenía tarjeta y García Remón me metió por él. Iba a debutar con el @レアル・マドリード No sentí nada de nervios porque no me dio ni tiempo a pensar que iba a jugar. Conseguimos empatar con gol de Ronaldo y disfruté mucho jugando. Guardo muy buen recuerdo. Me acuerdo que le di un taconazo a Zidane al lado del banquillo y el míster me indicó: “Fácil, fácil…”. ? ¿Mi mejor recuerdo? #LaDcima solo es posible en el mejor equipo del mundo.

On that 16th of October of 2004, my greatest dream came true. Let me tell you about that day:

I was still playing for Real Madrid Castilla, so the call up to the first team just the day before caught me completely by surprise.

In just a couple of hours, I went from having a booked flight to Las Palmas, to boarding a train headed for Sevilla.

When we got to the hotel, they took some pictures of me and Javi García with our new numbers. The shirt back then was black, and it was only missing the dragons!

Betis started winning and came off strong. Álvaro Mejía got a yellow card so García Remón called me up and I jumped to the pitch to sub for him. I was debuting with Real Madrid.

I didn't feel nervous because I didn't even have time to think about it. We were able to tie the came with a goal from Ronaldo and I just remember how much I enjoyed playing.

At one point, I gave Zidane a back-heel pass and the coach just said: "Easy... Easy". :p

The best memory I have? La Decima. Winning the tenth European Cup with the World's greatest club. Here are some pictures of that amazing day.
