Has anyone of you had "Pine Nut Syndrome" before?! I never knew it existed until it happened to me last night when everything I ate tasted horridly bitter. I thought I was sick, but Google suggested "Pine Nut Syndrome", where consumption of pine nut can mysteriously cause a bitter and metallic taste to the things you eat. And I remembered making pesto penne a day before (with a generous amount of pine nuts of course) and ate a whole lot of it. This is so ridiculous!! It has never happened to me before and apparently the bitter taste can take up to a month to go away?!?! ?????#pinenutsyndrome #pinemouth
