Shepard was one of 16 artists from both music and other contemporary art to design a custom #Caparelli guitar for an upcoming auction at Bonhams New York on Nov. 9 at 7pm. Guitars were designed by other creative including Iggy Pop, Michael Stipe, Gus van Sant, and more and all proceeds benefit War Child USA. War Child’s mission is to work with war-affected communities to help children reclaim their childhood through access to education, opportunity and justice. Shepard’s contribution to this auction is the aptly named Peace Dove guitar as seen below.
