We arrive at Mars today! After a 10-month, 442 million mile journey, our Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) is set to enter Martian orbit at approximately 9:50 p.m. EDT tonight. NASA TV coverage begins at 9:30 p.m.

It is the first spacecraft dedicated to exploring the upper atmosphere of Mars, answering important questions about the planet's history and climate.
