#gotgpicoftheday @ショーン・ガン is ready for action as the on-set Rocket. Contrary to numerous articles, Sean was NOT a "stand-in." We had a stand-in named Arti, and a stuffed Rocket as well, who would be there for lighting purposes and setting up the scene. Instead, Sean performed the role of Rocket on-set, laying the groundwork for Bradley Cooper, and giving the other actors a real actor to work with during scenes. Sean helped to create the back-and-forth dynamic between the actors, so Zoe, Chris, and Dave could experience (and show) a real relationship with a character as opposed to just talking to a tennis ball on a stick. We also motion-referenced (which means shot) Sean's entire performance so that I could use any of his acting I wanted in the character of Rocket, mixed with the acting of Bradley Cooper, and the "acting" of the visual effects folks at Framestore and MPC who created the character on-screen. #gotg #guardiansofthegalaxy
