Happy news from @dswt about our tiniest orphaned ele to ever be in our care. "An update about #Ndotto:

We are pleased to announce that the tiniest baby elephant to ever be in our care is doing well at the Nairobi Nursery!
Six-week-old elephant orphan Ndotto wobbled into a boma in the Ndoto mountains last month. A very trusting Samburu tribesman cared for the infant until the DSWT rescue team arrived. Now, Ndotto has now been afforded a second chance at life among the other elephant orphans at the Nursery.

As ever, the first few weeks for any young elephant orphan are always critical and our teams continue to do all they can to ensure Ndotto is provided with the very best care.
