Joan Rivers and I were introduced, a few months after we had a bit of a twitter disagreement, in the American Airlines lounge at JFK- needless to say it was a bit awkward at first. However, when I told her we had met when I was young with my parents she asked who my mother was, then went on to say that had she known, she never would have gone after me publicly -as she had a rule not to go after her friends' children. I assured her that it was all fair and that I was happy for the opportunity to speak face to face. We then chatted about this and that as we made our way through the terminal and onto the plane. She was kind and funny and caring and everything you would hope for her to be. I'm so glad I had that opportunity to speak to her. What a class act. She will be missed by many. #toosoon #ripJoanRivers
