The old church in the foreground is St Giles Cripplegate and it is one of the few remaining medieval church buildings in the City of London to survive the bombing that took place in the WWII Blitz and of course the great fire in 1666. The famous military commander Oliver Cromwell married in the church 1620. #FactForMonday #thisislondon
