Using my rest day to get motivated for Monday!! By @hookgrip Morghan @モーガン・キング King (-53kg) snatching 75kg on her opening attempt at the 2014 Nationals. She was lifting under 50kg (she is a 48 for big meets like worlds) and still won the 53s pretty easily. After this 75kg lift she took attempts at 78 and 80 and had both overhead with straight arms but she couldn't quite make either. She is taking aim at Olympic Champion Tara Nott's 82.5kg American record in the 48kg category. I expect it to fall by Rio if not sooner.
