A POEM BY SHEMAR MOORE... Back in college 24 years ago... My teacher gave me a C- grade because he didn't like the last line.. I refused to change it because it felt true to my heart, life experience, and my own expression!!! I was born 1970 in East Oakland to my White mother and my Black Father.. It was a different time and difficult place to grow up.. But that was my home.. Where my life began.. This poem is entitled "OUR HOME"... The poem was written about the PIC IN MY NEXT POST.. The pic reminds me of my childhood.. Always remember and PROUD of where I came from!!
