I have much #respect for my #competitors. This is Li Duan from #China. He lost his sight due to an accidental #explosion of a #fire #extinguisher. We've been competing against each other for years, and for the first few years of my #career, he was a #thorn in my side. He was the one #athlete who kept me from winning #gold in the #Paralympics and #world #championships. But, you know how the saying goes "all #good things must come to an #end". He hasn't finished ahead of me on the podium since 2011.
