While walking around exploring the Bywater neighborhood I met a photographer by the name of Porché West. Porché is an incredible New Orleans documentary photographer. He graciously gave us a tour of his studio and work. Before I took his portrait I asked if he could pick a important piece to hold for the photo. After a couple minutes he came back with a beautiful wooden circular framed photo of a young boy. When I asked who was young boy in the photo, his reply was "A son I never met." It was lovely meeting you @porchewest ?
